Hi Catherine,
This is all part of the manufacturer's ploy to promote the
real money selling consumables.
It's not so long ago I saw a colour Lexmark printer in PC
World for =C2=A347.99. Beside it was a basket of ink cartridges,
and a big notice inviting one to make sure you have spare
ink. Black and white ones cost =C2=A319.99 and colour ones were
=C2=A329.99.
I'll let you do the arithmetic on that one.
