Hi Roger, Does your printer come with OCR (Optical Character Recognition) software? Seems to me that's what you need to interpret the scan and turn it into text. If you don't have an OCR option, maybe you'll need to install something like Omnipage. I'd have thought most printers had this already, though. Even my cheap Lexmark has it. I can scan with no problems but the format is such I can't edit it after it appears on my PC. A document is in a variety of formats, JPEG, tiff, Bitmap to name just 3 but none are open for me to change them. Is there a way of doing this that I'm missing please/ Many thanks Roger Man is the only animal that blushes, or needs to.
