Hi Roger,

You will need to uninstall from the Windows uninstall dialog:

1. Press the 'Windows' key and type control in the edit box;
2. Cursor to 'Control Panel' and press the enter key;
3. In Control Panel, cursor down until you get to 'uninstall a program' and
press the enter key;
4. after a short while the programs list wil show all installed programs,
cursor down until you get to the program you want and then press the enter key
on that program;
5. Windows will ask if you are sure you want to uninstall, click the 'Yes'
button, then follow any subsequent requests to uninstall the program.

After the program is uninstalled, you should be able to install the full
version.

John.

Subject: [access-uk] Emsisoft Anti-Malware

Hi All

I recently installed a trial of the above, liked it but couldn’t afford it at
the time so just left it. I now want to use it and re-installed it only to be
told it is already installed and the installation is cancelled. I finally found
it in C:/Program Files (x86) whatever that is. I don’t seem able to do anything
with it, either to open it or delete it. I need Administrator permission but I
don’t know how to go about this. I’ve written to Emsisoft and heard nothing
from them. Anyone any ideas as to how I can get rid of this to start again?

Many thanks

Roger
