Hi Yusuf

Yes, it will delete manually.  If I uncheck then re-check the *empty deleted 
items on shut down*, it empties, but it doesnt' do so on subsequent shut 
downs of OE.  I haven't deleted any files that might be larger than ones 
when the empty facility worked in the past.

Hi Barry, If you manually delete does that work?

Have you deleted any large emails recently?
