I disagree.  I use echo location all the time.  I don't use my tongue
though, I flick my fingers.

this reminds of this blind chap who uses this echo location to get around
well personally i can hear parked cars on the kerb and the like but i could
never do it without a dog or a cane to me if someone says they can then they
must have some small amount of sight. well or very very good hearing indeed.

Hi. Did you ever try this app? All I found was a bunch of hype, a link 
to a web site with even more hype and some unlabelled buttons.  It 
takes a special kind of ineptitude to include unlabelled buttons in an 
app aimed squarely at the blind.
