I'll do my best with what I know.
The series five is made of alluminium or similar metal body. It has a USB C
port instead of the USB Micro. This is supposed to offer a faster
connection speed. The series five will also (eventually) incorporate a
basic Notepad, but I haven't heard anything about its capabilities. The
series five is also meant to be more rugged because of its design with some
shock absorption at each end of the unit.
In terms of its compatibility with ElBraille, I have been told that where
the series four has to have ElBraille incorporated into it, the series five
will fit into a cradle like the 14-35ll Focus Blue does, therefore making
the two components completely independent of one another. And I am guessing
the series five is a more reliable display in terms of its Braille cell
functionality. Certainly I am using one all the time now myself and
actually really like it. But this is just as a display with JAWS 2018.
I don't think they are close to issuing series five though from what I've
heard so goodness knows when that will come about.

I don't own a FS display, so ELBRAILLE is designed for the 40 cell; but
there is a delay with the series 5 ELBRAILLE display but the ELBRAILLE is
available, for the series 4 display.
What are the differences between the series 4 and 5 display?
Clarity is needed here?
