Why not? You would just scan the course material. You may even be able to get the material in a Word Format. I managed quite well with the paper based materials. I'm not sure what your excuse is here. ----- Original Message ----- From: "william lomas" <lomaswilliam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi. Try Nvq or the new ITQ qualification. They are paper based as they consist of units in which require tasks relating to Word excel and other common apps. The ECDL IT course still requires you to use the Windows 2000 operating system. Hell knows why it's considered as a recognized qualification in this day in age. ----- Original Message ----- From: "william lomas" <lomaswilliam@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Andrew. I believe Learn Direct supply the ECDL course. Their attitude stinks towards accessibility. Believe me I had wasted a year and a half on their IT course because they would not let me take the exams off line. My tutor downloaded the off line material for me so I didn't have to use the flash virtual interface and that was only some of the time. My tutor had been on to Learn direct on many occasions about supplying me the course off line appose to carrying the tasks out on that dreadful flash interface. No screen reader would read content from it and I struggled along with magnification and straining my eyes along the way. If I were you just forget ECDL and move on to an alternative qualification which is more accessible. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Andrew Summers" <asummers14@xxxxxxxxxxx
