Hi I have the same prob, can't print till its saved, you can rotate the way the name appears in the address list but that's the only way you seem to be able to save it, by that first line, kind of works for me though. In Word, you're supposed to select the text that's the address and then go to tools and dymo label, once there it'll read the address to you, tab once to print label and then again twice more once its printed to close the dymo label window. Have you tried re-doing the label roll, taking it out and starting again? You mention return addresses, is it printing those on the label? Let me know what's what and I'll see if I can help again Tracey ----- Original Message ----- From: Margaret Smith To: access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Thursday, March 16, 2006 9:22 AM Subject: [access-uk] Re: Dymo Again Hello Thank you very much for replying to my plea for help with my Dymo printer. I have the 330, but it doesn't seem to work quite as it should. I have selected the required label, but when I select new address, once I have written it, I have to save it before I can print it. However, I can't actually name the address, it is automatically saved by the first line of whatever I have written. Then, when I print the address, it is appearing halfway down the labe, more often than not spreading onto a second one. Someone did try to help, and he got rid of, or so I'd hoped, the returns address. I understand that it is possible to print addresses from MS Word, but here again, I can't seem to do this. Perhaps I should just re-install the program and try again. If you can shed any light on all of this, you will have made a frustrated woman very happy. Again, thank you for responding to my message. All the best. I entered the prog, got up a new label, wrote the address in it and then saved address book, gave it a name and place to store it and it was done, now, every time I enter the prog the address book comes up automatically, if you're still stuck let me know and I'll have a further nose around as I've forrgotten specifics already. I have a Dymo label printer which is wonderful, but I am having trouble in two areas: the labels don't print from the top, in other words the address appears halfway down one label and onto the next. I don't know how to create and use an address book. Do I do it through MS Word, or is there another way? If someone could kindly e-mail me off-list I would be most grateful. Many thanks.
