Hi George Ok I agree with you but I changed all the settings to save messages and delete them after 3 days on all my accounts but to be honest it didn't make an ounce of difference. All I can think of is that there is a particular message that won't download and outlook can't delete them at all and so it starts again. I had a similar problem with yahoo earlier in the year and the only way I could fix it is to delete them manually. I will change back all my settings to not save copies of messages. Unfortunately I'm not at an Outlook 2003 system right now, but as I recall it's done by accessing the settings for your AOL account within Outlook. It handles google, yahoo and all the others ok. I can have as many as 5 copies of the same message in my inbox.
