Hi,

I'm assuming you're using Internet Explorer. Go to the Tools menu, then
Options, then the Advanced tab and then ensure that 'Notify when downloads
complete' is ticked.

Does this help?

Subject: [access-uk] Downloading updates

Hi All

It must be the time of year again as I've have notification in last few days

of updates and renewals to 3 of my applications. Not a problem at all
(except the cost of course) but I notice that usually my way of doing this
is to save the application and then run it to install. This meant that after

the application was downloaded the window would ask what I wanted to do
next. That is when I hit the Run box. Now however when the download is
finished the next box doesn't show and I have to go to the location I saved
it in to install it.

I'm assuming a box has had a tick reversed somehow. Does anyone know where I

have to go to put it right, please?

Many thanks

Roger
