Thanks Steve. I wonder how easy or difficult it would be for them to
introduce that service. Are there genuine and significant technical
barriers, or is it another case of 'can't cook, won't cook'.

Best,

Clive

Simple answer, you can't.

No on demand stuff is available with AD on Sky at this point.

Subject: [access-uk] Downloading Audio-described movies onto a Sky Q box

Hello all,

Does anyone know how, or even whether, you can choose to download
audio-described versions of movies onto a Sky Q system? My sister and I have
recently watched 'To Olivia', about Roald Dahl and his family, and Rocket
Man, the Elton John biopic, but she doesn't know how or whether we can get
AD versions of movies. I'd forgotten just how much hard work it can be
assembling movies in your head when they come in kit form, that is, a three
minute passage with good dialogue, then nothing to follow, then another
couple of minutes of good dialogue, and so on. Also, I'd like to do more
with the Sky remote than I do. At a tangent, has anyone thought of doing a
podcast on making the most of the voice control feature on Sky Q remotes,
say, at TAVip?

Best,

Clive
