Ray, the stock at Audiobooksforfree is very limited and much of it out
of copyright. Audible.com really seems to be the only game in town. =20=

Cheers now.

Ian

Sunil Peck <sunil.peck@xxxxxxxxx> advised,

Check out www.audiobooksforfree.com or www.freeaudiobooks.com

Well, the first one Sam does offer some titles for free at lower bit
rates, but I doubt if much of the matterial is what many people are
after, and the higher bit rate versions are charged for.

Sunil's second link appears to be a database, search facility of
remaindered or stock clearance books, and Audible.com is amongst these.
As such its quite useful.

RAy.

Ray

I don't mind paying as long as it is a book I'm after.

Sam. Depends largely on whether you are prepared to pay or not.
Classic, out of copyright material, is donwloadable from Gutenburg or
however its spelt. Audible is a source of current fiction which I think
comes in apropriorty format and has to be paid for. At the moment we do
not have an equivalent of Bookshare.org in the UK, but some technical
titles are available from them for us to donwload.

Ray.
