if your not already aware of it take a look at:
www.bristolbraille.co.uk
their developing low cost multi line braille displays that will cost less
than #300 i think this one is called canute.
they are also developing a material that can be put on any flat surface of
any size to turn it into a braille display and they say this will cost 100
dollars.
