Hello Everyone.

I apologise in advance if some of you receive this message more than once. I am cross posting as it could be of interest to various groups. Recently, I have been involved in discussions regarding electric appliance safety and they have peaked my curiosity. Although it may not be a legal requirement in the UK to conduct regular electrical safety checks on appliances, employers do have a duty of care to make sure all electrical appliances are safe to use. This got me thinking. Has anyone ever tried to perform a pat test with a visual impairment? I'm referring to the results of a pat test being conveyed in an accessible form. Does anyone know of an accessible audible pat tester? failing that, does anyone know of a pat tester that can be linked to a smart phone so you can see if an appliance has passed? I look forward to any responses.

Thanks for reading,

Mo.
