Jackie Et al,Has Pure ever made any comment as to why this particular model of their's seems to die after about 7 years, regardless of how much use the radio has been put through?
Perhaps they realised they had used poor components and that was the reason they dropped the model so quickly.
I've had my Sonus reparied by Chris Ellis for £44 and while its still working it sometimes fades to no sound and I have to switch it back on.

Yes, the display is lit up, but we don't know any more than that at thisstage. Looks as though this hardly used radio has gone the same way as manywhich is frankly shameful. After a while these radios seem to just stop. We had one that stopped in this way and could not be revived. I believe there is someone who repairs them, but it costs quite a lot of money.
