Hi,
Somewhere in Tools, Options you can turn off archiving. They haven't
disappeared, they have probably landed in your Archive folder.

Subject: [access-uk] Disappearing e-mails
I am using Office 2010 on Windows 8.1. I have found it irritating for some
time that Outlook keeps tidying up my deleted e-mails. I've been used to
keeping these to refer back to and clearing them out in my own time.
But today, suddenly a dozen messages have disappeared from my in-box which
I've been keeping to refer back to. I know they are several months old but I
am really annoyed that Outlook should have just removed them. I'm pretty
sure I haven't done this by accident.
But, let's assume I have and deal with the other issue; is there a way to
stop Outlook from tidying my Delete Box automatically?
