Hi Chris. There aren't any extra dedicated buttons to turn off the touch pad. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Chris" <christopherhallsworth71@xxxxxxxxxxxxxx>

Hi, is there a button on the touchpad itself? If so then this may be used to enable/disable the touchpad. This is the case with my Compaq laptop, however I can also disable it through Mouse Properties. Hope this helps.

Hello. I can't find the option which disables my touch pad. I've gone into mouse settings and I can't find the tab sheet anywhere. It use to be the final tab sheet on my old laptop. I've even gone through the pointer settings on the notification area. I get the same options as the mouse settings in control pannel.
