Hi Ali.

There are various ways of doing this. You could rip the DVD's directly on to
your hard drive using a PC and software, that way you've got them in avi
format on your hard drive. Or, you could buy aDVD recorder that has a built
in hard drive and save them on there. Is there any reason why you'd like a
hardware converter specifically and don't want to do this on a PC? DVD
recorders aren't accessible yet as far as i know, if you're not Visually
impaired this isn't a problem. The last option is you could pay to have them
done for you. I have been providing a service for a while now to transfer
videos from camcorder/VHS/DVD and other media to hard drive or backup DVDs,
and ripping to hard drive is the cheapest option from DVD and VCD. because
its less work to convert them, DVD's and VCD's are the cheapest option. If
you're at all interested, let me know off list how many dvd's you have etc
and i can provide a quote.

is where i can be contacted.

all the best,

Hi all,
Between myself and my sons, we have quite a few DVD/VCD collection. I
just wanted to find-out if there are any hardware base converters that
I can convert the DVD/VCS into AVI or similar format to keep on a hard
drive?
