Hi all -
Each time I ask this, nobody seems to have the answer for me, so here goes
again!
It's about burning Digital Rights manager files using Winamp. At the moment,
I can't even get Winamp to play these files, let alone burn them, but I do
recall Steve Nutt saying ages ago that Winamp could do both these things,
but each time I try to play such a file with Winamp, the following page
comes up:
Windows Media Update
In order to play this file, you need to upgrade your media player to a
version compatible with Windows Media Rights Manager V7. Select View
Compatible Players
below to see a list of compatible media players.
If your current media player does not have a Windows Media Rights Manager V7
compatible version, you should select a different player with the Windows
Media
Rights Manager V7 identifier.

Obviously I do have Windows media player on this computer [version 10] and
it will play these files, but I've never been able to figure out how to burn
files using WMP, and I'd really prefer to use Winamp for everything, as in
my opinion, it is still the best player!
Hope somebody can move me on this time, I'd really like to get these files
on to disc; I'd like to get them in to MP3 format really, but don't think
that will be possible, but I'd settle for converting them to .wav or .CDA!
Regards -
Andy
