Take a look at the Olympus 713PC which should do the job. About £59 last
time I looked.

I'm looking for a simple to use voice recorder which can be either connected
via USB directly to the pc, or more preferably, can record onto micro SD
cards.
It doesn't need to have any text to speech capability for reading documents
or anything of that ilk, just simple and small.
My current one is a little Olympus which has no connectivity, but make is
not important.
