It's the clutter that I'm trying to clear, but I don't want to get rid of the hot keys. If anyone knows a work around, I'd appreciate it, and I think Paddy would too. The shortcut key will go too though. It's stored in the property attributes of that shortcut file. It would be a nice idea though for a registry hack. Or even better if their could be a shorcut tab in the programs exe file to do this. Would certainly save on alot of clutter. hehehe Dj Paddy "It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion, It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, The hands acquire shaking, the shaking becomes a warning, It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion." -- Popular Usenet Sig ----- Original Message ----- From: "Barry" <bbinc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> To: <access-uk@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, September 01, 2005 7:48 AM Subject: [access-uk] Desktop icons and hot keys > To create a hot key I send an icon to my desktop then set the hot key. > Once > the hot key has been set, can I delete the icon from the desktop? > > Barry H > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] > ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx > ** and in the Subject line type > ** unsubscribe > ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the > ** immediately-following link:- > ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] > ** or send a message, to > ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq > > > __________ NOD32 1.1207 (20050831) Information __________ > > This message was checked by NOD32 antivirus system. > http://www.eset.com > > ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
