Hi

Is the Sound taxi software able to convert daisy to MP3?

I have an Olympus DS50 and would like to transfer my talking books on to
it. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

Matt

Haven't seen the rest of this thread so I don't know what the original
question was. But it looks like you're trying to convert Audible books
to a format playable on players that you don't have to register with
Audible or via iTunes. If so, get hold of Sound Taxi from soundtaxi.info
which will strip out the DRM and can convert to a range of formats
playable on mp3 players and ones that play Windows Media too. It's
accessible - with Jaws anyway.

Hi Pele

If you play it in Winamp, and use alt 3 you will be in the id tag
screen, and if you arrow up to the top, and come down, it will report
the bit rate and tell you if it's VBR.

Let me know what you discover -

Andy

| Thanks for the suggestion.
|
| How does one know if the file is fixed or variable bit rate?
