It may be of interest but it is certainly disappointing. So much for the six
months breakthrough on books we were promised in January 2005. Things it seems
for one reason or another can't get better.

Subject: [access-uk] Daisy Box Sets

Hello,
A couple of weeks ago there was a short thread here on RNIB's plans for Daisy
box sets for sale.
There was a specific question about Terry Pratchett books. Sadly the audio
rights for his books (and those for some other authors) are held by commercial
publishers and we don't have the rights to sell. We can lend individual titles
through our library but selling (even though we don't make any profit) is out
right now.
We do have a Roal Dahl box set with 7 titles. Last year we added 5 new sets and
this year plans include another Sharpe box set (books 13-16), A Michael
Morpurgo box set, containing: "War Horse", "The butterfly lion" and " The
Amazing Adolphus tips", and a Jean Plaidy box set.
I hope this information is of interest to some folks on this list.
