Hi again Andy

I know someone who has one and he recommends it

is the Sony model DAVSC6

However be warned it is a bit on the pricey side, I believe it costs something over £500 but of course in this business you get what you pay for, so for that price you should get something really worthwhile.

I run a Sharp Surround system with leads going into it from my DVD player TV and Video. The sound from this too is very very good.

Good luck in your efforts
Tony

Hi all -

Looking to buy a dvd player with surround sound; anyone found one reasonably blind friendly? It's not just for movies, but TV series too, which can be tricky to access as they contain lots of titles or chapters. I can play them on my PC, but is there a reasonably accessible stand alone player out there that any one can recommend?
