[access-uk] DVD Burner Problem

Hi All
I'm assuming the worse and it's a new burner so I've started looking.
Firstly I'm amazed at how much they've come down in price so it's not going
to be as painful as I imagined.
But I have 2 questions. Firstly when the machine is a RAM what exactly does
that mean? Secondly some are shown as Lightscribe, isn't this something to
do with certain discs where the burner will print the details straight on to
it? If I'm right is it effective? If not what is it please?
