Carol,

I was happier with my Vista machine than any other PC I've owned, so it
obviously takes all sorts.

Doing a quick search, you could get Vista from Microsoft themselves or Amazon,
though wehther it's worth it, only you can decide.

Maybe if you haven't got a lot to lose, follow was it Doris's? suggestion of
loading up with anti-malware programs and carrying on as you are. MalwareBytes
(version 1.75, mind you, not the latest), and Superantispyware are well worth
getting if you don't have them already. These both have free versions.

Vince.

Thanks, David. That's much like I thought.

Not much point in buying Tune Up unless I get Vista on soon.

Doesn't look worth it to me, but felt I should ask around first, so thanks for
your comments.
