I cannot be as specific as Jackie about models, my own Evoke 3 has quite a large display but it is of the backlight variety and what Pure chose to do with it is use it to display lots of small information with only very occasionally large writing. It is not the best from this point of view. Even some sighted users felt that it wasn't always that easy on the eye using its backlight. You may want to specifically hunt out any units that use the newer OLED (Organlic Light Emitting Diodie)displays, these are very much clearer from the perspective of the partially sighted. Unfortunately they are not yet at a price where they are deployed in that many sets or that large right now but this is somewhat offset by their very much improved contrast ratio over traditional backlit LCD whicih for the kind of displays used in consumer electricals is not that good. A couple of examples of OLED displays are viewable on the Pure Avanti Flow and the Pure Evoke Flow, both of which feature OLED displays. The former is really rather a luxiury device and has Internet radio connectivity. The Evoke Flow is somewhat similar to the original Evokes but in block with a yellow on black OLED display. ** To leave the list, click on the immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=unsubscribe] ** If this link doesn't work then send a message to: ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx ** and in the Subject line type ** unsubscribe ** For other list commands such as vacation mode, click on the ** immediately-following link:- ** [mailto:access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx?subject=faq] ** or send a message, to ** access-uk-request@xxxxxxxxxxxxx with the Subject:- faq
