Hi Amro, forgive me if I suggest what you might have already done but as you didn't mention it. Have you checked in your recycle bin? You'll find the icon for it on your desktop. Go into it and, if you didn't do a permanent delete, you should find both your folders. Simply focus on the folder and select restore from the file menu. Do this for both folders and they will be back where they were originally. If for some reason the recycle bin isn't showing on your desktop, focus on computer on the desktop, open it and then go to the previous level with backspace, and you will find it there. Please note though this is on a vista machine. On an XP machine, substitute Computer with My Computer. Right, in a genius moment I've managed to permanently delete two folders, two quite chunky folders actually. So, does anyone know of a tool that might help in recovering this lost data? I can ask for sighted help if need be. Please help! *miserable face* Amro __________ Information from ESET Smart Security, version of virus signature database 3929 (20090311) __________ The message was checked by ESET Smart Security. http://www.eset.com
