Hi Barry,
Okay, got you now. What you have to do when you get to rule description is
simply down arrow one time. Jaws will say
contains specific words. This is an underlined link. Just hit enter right
here. You will open an edit field where you are asked to type the specific
word or phrase. When you've done that, tab to the add button and hit the
spacebar. Now, again, use your downarrow key to move down until you
highlight the text you've just added. Its usually only two down arrows. Now
tab to the OK button. You should now be back in your create rule wizard,
and the next movement of the down arrow should read ... Specified. This is
another underlined link. Of course this is where you hit enter to choose
your specified folder.

Peter

Hi Peter

I have no problem with the first two selections, it's the third one that, on
my pc, says "3. Rule description: Click on underlined value to edit it. Read
only. Edit. Use your reading keys to read text."

Hi Barry,
You want to block emails that contain certan words in the subject? Sounds
pretty straightforward. Have you tried a rule that sends such posts to the
deleted items folder? Or instead of moving to a specific folder, you can try
selecting. Delete from the server.
Or is there some other sticky area that is giving you trouble?

Peter

Sorry, Peter, I forgot to mention that important detail. I'm using Outlook
Express. The part I'm having trouble with is the rule description.

I want to block messages that have certain words in the subject line. Can
someone talk me through creating a rule from the message. I know the steps
alt+m, e to get into the action, but I'm stuck from there.
