Have you tried re-entering your serial number? Click the win key, type in
activation, and one of the options that will be listed is to activate win7.
Just follow the prompts from there.

Subject: [access-uk] Counterfeit Windows 7

I had a crash of my Windows 7 yesterday morning and since then on re-boot I
have been getting a message telling me i have a counterfeit copy of Windows
7. This is not true as the disc I have has the certification sticker from
Microsoft on it. I would assume it is caused by something that happened with
the crash. Is there anything I can do to put this right pleased?

Many thanks Roger
