Hi. Yes, they do there's quite a loud audible alert when they're about to run out of batteries, i'd say even then you get a good 10 to 20 minutes talk time before they die.

all the best,

Mo.

Hi,

But no battery low warning at all. I hate cordless phones like that.

Off to investigate the Panasonics. Do they tell you when battery is low
audibly?

By the way, audio quality on the Powertel is rubbish too, especially through
the loudspeaker.

All the best

The powertel 710 from Cobolt is quite good and takks reading
names in your directory letter by letter.

The phones are somewhat gobby and not that light though they
function well. The buttons are quite big but not too unweilded!
Just my perspective.

Kind regards,

Subject: [access-uk] Cordless phones again!

I know this was covered recently, but of course I didn't need the
info then!
Any recommendations for accessible corless phones would be
appreciated. If
they talk, that would presumably be a bonus, but not essential.
TIA,

Richard
