Cheers for that Barry - I'll watch out for your opinion! Richard also felt the
gigaset was a good phone... The only minor point I've seen in the reviews is
that he handset is rather light and scratches easily.

All the best & many thanks,
Barry G

I ordered the Semens gigaset cordless phone and answer machine this week on
the strength of it being a Wich? best buy. Got it from Amazon for just short
of £80 for the twin, but they do a four phone set too. It should be with me by
the end of next week. I'll let you know what it's like to use with no sight.

  Cheers

  Barry

Hi, Have a look at the gigaset range.

We have the Gigaset C475, which may have been superseded. Think it should do
what you need; good range, speaker phone, answering machine etc. Has loads of
features which I don't use and which aren't accessible.

Hi Folks, my old phone system has died and I'm looking for a good replacement
that is VI usable, although I don't use most of the features, it has to have
good quality hands free as I use it for work whilst I'm also typing using JFW.
I don't need headset capability, although that would be nice.

I need a system with at least 4 handsets and the ability to transfer calls
between handsets - ideally the ability to make internal calls from one handset
to another too as my current system has this and it's quite useful as our house
is a bit big and rambling!

Any thoughts on a system or suggestions for specialists/suppliers/websites
would be gratefully received...

  All the best,
  Barry G
