Thanks Andy,
I used Gold wave to record in real-time. It took long, but, managed to
record everything I needed. Little cleaning with gold wave would give me
what I needed. Thanks everyone for the suggestions.

-----------

Thank you.

Hi again Ali.

I am a GoldWave user and can talk you through the process of copying your
albums or cassettes onto your computer. If you need any assistance Ali,
please don't hesitate to contact me.

However, if you are connecting your hi-fi to a computer via the line-in
facility, I believe that that this will not give you digital reproductions
but merely stereo, which incidentally will be suitable for almost anything
recorded on cassette tape or album, prior to 2000. OI must say however,
that the quality of reproductions, especially from cassette tape have in the
past been disappointing for me. This may be that I'm now used to cd
quality. I don't know.

Andy.
