Hi,

Try Office Lens, it is by Microsoft and is free on the App store. You can snap
and read with it, or export to Pdf, Dox etc

Regards,

Mike

Many thanks Steve and Eleanor for the suggestion but would you or anyone else
know of a cheaper alternative at all? I’ll be using such app only occasionally
so I prefer a free/cheap app. Thanks.

Hi all, what would be the easiest way to convert a scanned document in PDF
formats (or in any other formats for that matter) to readable text by VO on iOS
devices?

I received an email with attached PDF and was wondering if there was an app
that can open the attachment from within the email and convert it too without
the need to saving it first. I have apps such as Document Pro which can open
attachments but they don’t have built in OCR capability.

Any recommendations?

TIA

Amro
