Hi Peter.

If you have office 2003 or older, you'll need to download the compatibility
pack for office 2007. Try opening the file in word. If you have the latest
updates, you will be told to install the compatibility pack automatically, else
you can get it from the Microsoft download centre at
http://download.microsoft.com. Search for compatibility pack and your sure to
find it.

All the best, Ibrahim.

Subject: [access-uk] Converting .docx to .doc files

Have received a .docx file. I understand that this is a Word 2007 format
which I do not have. Does anybody know of a downloadable and usable program for
converting to .doc files.

  Thanks for any help.
