Thanks Jim how cheap? I am an idiot and would need idiot's guide so unless it
is really simple.Is Goldwave especially for visually impaired people? I have a
lot of recordings and I would like to put them all together as one big file.
Would it do that Any offers to do it for me??

I seem to remember that you use SuperNova. I don't know what the access is
like, but Goldwave is a really good all-round digital editing programme.
It's also very cheap to buy the license.

You could download the free version of cdex and you can convert away. I
use it all the time for ripping and, before I bought GoldWave, converting files
from wav to mp3 and vice-versa.
Just google it and you'll get to the cdex page.
