Hi,
From Freedom Scientific itself. I always forget this one.

Iain.

In Microsoft Word, you can use CTRL+PAGE UP and PAGE DOWN to move through a document by page, table, heading, section, and so on. When you first start Word,
pressing CTRL+PAGE UP or PAGE DOWN moves you through the document by page. However, after you use Word's Find command (CTRL+F) to search for text, CTRL+PAGE
UP and PAGE DOWN move to the previous or next instance of the text you entered.

If you want to use CTRL+PAGE DOWN and PAGE UP to move to the next and previous pages of your document again after using the Find command, do the following:

1. In Microsoft Word, press INSERT+3. This passes the next keystroke you press through to Word.
2. Press ALT+CTRL+HOME to open the Select Browse Object menu.
3. Select "Browse by Page" and press ENTER.

You can now use CTRL+PAGE DOWN and PAGE UP to move to the next and previous page of your document.

To select a different type of object to move to when you press CTRL+PAGE DOWN or PAGE UP, do the following:

1. In Microsoft Word, press INSERT+3. This passes the next keystroke you press through to Word.
2. Press ALT+CTRL+HOME to open the Select Browse Object menu.
3. Use the arrow keys to select the object you want to browse for and press ENTER.

You can now press CTRL+PAGE DOWN or PAGE UP to move through the document by the object you selected.

Subject: [access-uk] Control +page up and page down in word

Hi all

A word question. Generally in word you can use control +page up and page down to move between the pages of the document, but then when you have entered something in the Find/Replace dialogue box those keystrokes search for the next/previous incidence of the text you have entered. I want to be able to change those keystrokes back to their original function of moving between pages, but I can't find the option I need to change.

Help would be appreciated

James
