it does remember your place if you leave it on the cd mode but if you
change it then it will either go back to the beginning or somewhere
else. It will definitely play daisy books but just make sure you stop
at the beginning of a chapter so that you can find yourself.

Actually you are both right. It will play the MP3 files from Daisy
books,
but it won't give you Daisy-like navigation. Your files may also be
in the
wrong order. It is not a Daisy player.

books. I never use the CD component of it, I bought it for the very good
radio reception.
