As many on the list may be aware I have a very severe hearing loss. It is
such I have great difficulty understanding synthetic voices. Consequently I
shy away form them, which is why I don't have an iPhone or the like. Last
night I was sorting out a small problem with my Plextalk PTX1 and Burbling
Bertha, as I call the on-board announcer, never stopped talking. My wife
wonders if that is a synth voice, I think not. If she is right can I buy
that synth to install on talking devices as I find it very easy to listen to
and understand.
