Hi Chris.

Thanks so much for this - I haven't looked yet but I know it will be useful.

To use the BrailleNote as a Braille display with the laptop do I need to
install drivers I am using JAWS and it does say JAWS is supported - also how
easy is it to use internet and email?

Mandy.

Hi,

To write the sign in braille:-

Press dots 2, 3, 4 and 6 together with the enter key (dot 8.

I used to have a Braille Note 40 at work and produced my own notes;
attached.

Hope this maybe of use?

I have purchased a second-hand BrailleNote and am gradually getting to grips
with it - unfortunately it is not the one discussed in the user guide as it
has only an 18 cell display and doesn't have the wheel referred to with
arrow keys either but I do think it has internet and email capabilities
although I am unsure as yet whether I need to purchase a network card:
perhaps someone with more knowledge can assist?

I am compiling my addresses and want to include email: how do I input the
at sign? Someone told me it is the T H E sign with dot 8 but I have only
six Braille writing keys so how do I achieve this please?

Mandy.
