I purchased a Samsung SSD 850 EVO 500GB drive and have been absolutely
delighted with it. It boots up in seconds, and has increased productivity by
a considerable factor. With a 5 year warranty, Novatech have them at a
penny short of £144.00
But do RTFM first (Read The Flaming Manual) before you even open the PC
Case.
You may wish to consider de-activating certain adaptive and even
non-adaptive software firts. Not removing, simply de-activating.
Cloning the drive was actually a simpler process that I had expected.
The hardest part of the exercise for me was finding a suitable internal
drive caddy for an HP Pro 3400 Series MT. When I finally got one, it cost
less than £20 and tidied things up interally.

Hi all,
I need to replace my laptop hard drive with an SSD. I do not want to lose
the configuration or the OS. I was wondering if anyone could suggest
software that I can clone the existing hard drive onto this new SSD so that
I can put it in the laptop without needing to re-install everything??
Using jaws 18, windows 10, and SSD can be put in an external drive case.
