Hi Martin

As far as I understand it, you can only claim VAT back on goods that are
specifically designed for disabled people. So, you could claim VAT back on
Jaws or OCR software, a Braille cell or large keyboards or trackballs, for
example, but not for a pc that anyone can use. It doesn't matter that they
won't be using it, it's that they can.

Subject: [access-uk] Claiming VAT back on a PC

Hi Folks

I've just had to break the bank and replace my PC. As an afterthought I
wonder can I claim back the VAT on the PC as it is only for my use? Any
links to info or forms much appreciated.

Thanks
Martin
