Just to let you know for anyone in a similar situation, I couldn't find the
exe file of CN so I just downloaded 2.4 again and it must have rememvbered
me LOL as every thing's back to normal now, fingers crossed.
It was crazy that when I accepted their request to upgrade on Friday the
action corrupted that existing file!
