Hi Kirsty,

No I don’t believe it is, happy to stand corrected if someone knows differently
though.

Cheers,

Ed

Hi Ed,

Thanks for this. Is it possible to change the pronunciation of words on the
iPhone too?

Cheers,
Kirsty

Hi Kirsty,

Yes it is.

Go into the Voiceover Utility with control option f8.

Select the ‘speech’ category from the utility category table.

Click on the ‘pronunciation’ tab.

Then click the add button. It should be self-explanatory from then on.

Cheers,

Ed

Hi Everyone,

Is it possible to make changes to the way that VoiceOver pronounces specific
words as we can with Jaws? If so, what do I need to do?

Many thanks,
Kirsty
