Yes but NVDA did not support one core initially out of the box. It had to be
tweaked to access One Core voices in a special update, as incidentally did Jaws
as they are not standard SAPI voices. Try loading a normal TTS game and then
try to access any One Core voices and then you will see the limitation.

Hi David,
That can’t be true, because NVDA supports One Core voices directly and it works
on my system without any registry tweaking on my part.
All the best

Dear Clive
I had a quick look at whether One Core narrator Voices can be used within the
system beyond Narrator and it apparently can only be done with a registry tweak
according to

Hello David,
Thanks for your reply. I followed your instructions but I still have the same
system voice. After selecting the voice there is a button for setting up the
microphone. I select this and two buttons appear: I can't hear cortana and
cortana Can't hear me. I select one of these buttons and tab to the Skip this
step button as I have cortana switched off. Microsoft susan is the default
voice in Narrator, but my system voice is still Microsoft David when I try the
blindgamers games. Am I missing something here?
Best wishes,
