If all fails, try system restore. Sorry this is not really a solution but system restore saved my butt few times :)

Subject: [access-uk] Can't send messages with text in them

Hi all

I have a strange problem, or, to be accurate, my girlfriend does.

We have our computers networked through a router. I'm using XP home and
Angie is on XP pro. I have no problems sending or receiving emails, but she
does. Using IE6 and OE, she can send a message if there is very little or
no text in the body of the email. More than a line, and it just hangs.

There is no problem receiving messages.

We've checked the SMTP and that is correct. We've stopped the email scan on
Avast, her virus checker. We've scoured the net for answers, but nothing
we've found has worked.

Any idea's would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers

Barry
