Hi.
The canon downloads centre still has the drivers for the DJ30 printer, so
perhaps you might try your luck and find the help files in there. They are
usually quite good and give you a complete manual with the driver, at least
that's always been my experience.

They usually do come on a CD with the drivers, but over time the CD's get
lost.

What help files? I have simply connected the printer and selected it from
the choice of printers. I do not lift the top but lift a part in a direction
downwards and outwards towards myself as I am in front of it.
