Subject: [access-uk] Can anyone suggest where I could
purchase the latest version of Omnipage Pro through a shop
please?

Hi all,

As most of the list will be aware from other threads I now
have a Cano scan
1250u2 installed on my computer. I found out with help
from a friend that the problem I was having with Macros in
word related to a package called Care which is part of the
Omnipage OCR software and therefore I have had to uninstall
the omnipage version 9 that came with my scanner.

My question is as I do not want to purchase omnipage through
an online store, and it looks as if my local branch of PC
World, in Selly Oak, Birmingham, do not have it in stock,
does anyone know where, other than another branch of PC
world, in either Birmingham or the wider west Midlands I may
be able to purchase Omnipage Pro version 15 for a cost
approaching£89 which I believe I heard mentioned in another
thread on this list.

Thank you in advance for any advice.
