Hi Graham.

The point is I cannot afford that kind of money at present: this is
really a fill-in but I will bear it in mind for next time. The point of
my question was not what I could have bought that would be better: just
would I be able to use this one.

Thanks anyway.

Mandy.

Ifr you can afford it, I would personally go for a new or a
reconditioned=20
machine.

This is not intended as an advert, but I have used EuroPC
(www.europc.co.uk)=20
3 times in the last year and found the company to be pretty good.

You can visit the website but when you order I would recommend you ring
them=20
to check what is available. You can ring the company on 0870 907 0800=20
expect to pay about =A3700 for a well specified dell laptop with a 3 =
year=20
warrantee.

Cheers

Graham

Hi All.

In my impatience to purchase a laptop I have talked my long-suffering
husband into purchasing from Ebay the following item for =3DA3190 with =
=3D
=3DA320 postage. We have not yet paid as Brian is asking seller a =
couple
of questions.

Here are the specifics and my question is: does this mean it is
wireless enabled to use anywhere and, assuming it doesn't have a CD
drive which I didn't realise and which it seems not to have: can I buy
any small drive to connect to this? Will it be a very slow laptop
Should Window-Eyes work with this?

? It is certainly slim and very lightweight which is what I wanted.
