Hi Barry.

The only way to fix the votes would be to extract all mailings from the 
thousands being sent out by trawling down a database of voters with a 
waiver.  Extracting such mailings manually like this would be a hell of a 
task and that's if you've got access to the printing house that's producing 
and mailing the forms in the first place.

You have to trust to a degree that controls are in place to limit access to 
the waiver database and ensure the outgoing forms are not processed anywhere 
where there is access to that information.

If you were uncomfortable with this then I'd suggest you wouldn't want a 
postal vote as there's a far greater risk that your vote will be tossed in 
the bin because your signature was different to that recorded.
